The project involves creating and distributing a large volume of UNT magazines and viewbooks to showcase the university's unique offerings and engage prospective students.
The How:
Planning: Developed a project plan with objectives, timelines, budget, and resources.
RFP Creation: Participated in a Request for Proposal (RFP) creation to solicit bids from potential printing and mailing vendors, outlining project requirements, scope, and deadlines.
Historical Analysis: Reviewed past print production projects to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement, informing the current project's strategy and approach.
Content Creation: Collaborated with writers, editors, photo & video team, graphic design team, web team and subject matter experts to create engaging content.
Designing: Worked with design team to produce visually appealing layouts.
Weekly Review Meetings: Hold regular meetings to monitor progress and address challenges.
Client Approval: Presented the final content and design to UNT stakeholders for review and approval.
Production: Coordinated with a printing company to produce the magazines and viewbooks.
Inventory Analysis & Management: Assess the required inventory for printed materials and manage stock levels to ensure adequate supply throughout the project.
Mailing: Partnered with mailing and distribution services to deliver the materials to the intended recipients.
